On the dvds the animation quality is just about bearable. After previous fmp franchise seasons struggled to find an idendity, vacilating between being a cute and funny romcom to a mech adventure/ drama all in the same show, (that was annoying) fmp!

Review full metal panic has always been like a cheeky look at the anime tradition of making mecha/military experts young teenagers and having them handle the trouble of integrating into a normal, peaceful society. The animation is ok, but there's a lot of cg scattered around the place.
